LDN was the final piece of the puzzle!
Covid hit me hard when our family got it for the first time in April 2023. All the gains I made with AIP over six years seemed to have been upended. I began researching, as always, learned about LDN. It is one of the safest medications on the market with great potential to modulate the immune system.
I titrated from 1/2 mg up to 3 mg going up 1/2 mg every month. I have never felt so good! Along with food elimination, LDN has lowered my antibodies to the lowest they have ever been!
The changes have been amazing. It has helped my sleep, aches, Raynaud's, mood, PMS, food sensitivities, bloating, etc.
High-dose naltrexone is used for opioid addiction withdrawal symptoms. Years ago, researchers noticed many conditions were greatly improved on very low doses of naltrexone. Everyone has a different "sweet spot", but it is usually between 3 and 4.5 mg.
Some docs have no idea what LDN is, but functional practitioners have started prescribing it off-label to ease chronic symptoms.
The only catch with going on LDN is that you cannot take any opioids because they won't work (LDN is an opioid antagonist), so it has to be stopped before surgeries.
Here is a bit of info on LDN (it has been shown to help with serious diseases such as Parkinson's. It is also effective at treating MS, Lyme, and autoimmune symptoms.

You will need to have your Rx filled at a compounding pharmacy. I have my LDN componding using only methylcellulose.
